REVIEWS

quote Had a very pleasant meal eating at this restaurant for lunch with an old friend. All the food taste homemade and felt like there was a lot of care and effort into making the dishes stand out with simple ingredients. The meal prices were also very affordable and have yet to try their seafood porridge which I will definitely be coming back for. Some of my highlights this visit was the crispy oyster omelette and the fried lye fun. Simply delicious I hope this restaurant continues to flourish. It does get pretty busy so do expect to wait in line, but like all good things in life, this is worth your time.

quote Ordered a seafood meesua and fried oyster omelette dough kinda thing called 蚝烙。 Mee sua had indeed a very starchy texture as many said, but still within acceptable range (and in fact I know a lot of girls who like this texture). Taste-wise it’s tasty with a Chinese wine flavour. On the other side, the 蚝烙 had an interesting texture, where the end was crispy like a deep-fried egg, while the inner side was soft and doughy. It almost combined both Malaysian and Taiwanese version of 蚝煎 into one. Taste-wise, it’s mostly the type of fried-food fragrance, tasty but not too remarkable, and to me a bit too oily. Overall, a place with tasty unique food. But due to its uniqueness (like you can’t find teochew food easily nowadays), the price is slightly on the high side compared to the ingredients you get.

quote Casual dining. Was here for the teo chew noodles and oyster omelette. Fried lai fun, oyster noodles and oyster omelette were good. Seafood mee suah was ok. The prawn cakes tasted different from what I expected. It was a bit dry and rough.

quote I've been frequently visits this restaurant before MCO. And during that time the food was really good. And recently I happen to re-visit this place again, I realised the food taste kinda dropped and the portion is slightly smaller than is used to be as well.

quote saw this restaurant online, and we decided to give it a try. Find out it was super b! The fish came in really fast between 15 minutes. The oyster fried egg was the one that most amaze me! It come with the shape of pizza and it's really flavourful! For the yam noodles, it's super b too, full with fresh yam! For others, we have ordered fried rice, oyster noodles, porridge, lobak. Everything was fine and tasty!! Definitely can come try and will come back!
